blog gone quiet

Hot on the heels of the blog’s first anniversary… I haven’t posted anything. I have been logging in and changing several drafts one line at a time for ages now; but I’ve been too busy with my own work and with others’ work (i.e. proofreading and copy-editing) – and with issues I can’t discuss – to complete any one post.

I do, still, sincerely, hope to soon present a careful review of the violent destruction of cultural property in Mali, and a detailed look at subsistence digging of archaeological sites in Nigeria. After those, I may try to post drafts/extracts from writing-in-progress (even slower, more dispiriting progress), until I owe fewer pieces to fewer people.
